DOWN ON THE FARM

Gary represented the charity during filming by BBCs Country File programme where presenter Adam Henson spoke to veterans enjoying the benefits of the Therapy Farm run by ex RAF Regiment Gunner Jamie Quinn a former RAF Colleague of our own CEO back in 1984. Gary and Steve are seen here with Adam at the end of filming and Gary is also shown feeding some of the cattle. Thanks to Jamie for inviting us to take part and raise the profile of the charity.

The charity recently took over house number 8 from St Leger Homes and we are busy prepping it for its new tenant and on Monday 3rd July we take over house number 9 and start work on that one.

Last weekend Tom Wood and David Wood took the exhibition trailer to Sunderland and raised £272 for the charity meanwhile Steve Bentham-Bates ran a stall at Rotherham Armed Forces Day for the charity and raised £127.22 so a successful weekend for Help 4 Homeless Veterans
