CHARITY MANAGERS MEET MAYOR OF ROTHERHAM

Steve Bentham-Bates CEO and Doncaster Councillor John Healy Chair of Trustees met up with Rotherham Mayor Councillor Eve Rose Keenan and her husband consort Pat at a tea held for veterans and took the opportunity to view the memorial painting of Rotherham Soldier Sgt Ian Mckay VC Parachute Regiment who died during the Falklands War 35 years ago.

The Mayor has agreed to set up a meeting to learn how the charity currently works in the neighbouring towns of Doncaster and Barnsley and CEO Steve said “as a Rotherham man myself I would like to see a similar scheme in place here if we can get the support from the Council following preliminary discussions”.
